These WEASELS at that co-op are pulling a scam. They are crooked, lying

That's one theory that's floating around NYC at the moment. However, most
people have been willing to give him and the Zahns the benefit of the
doubt -- at least for now.

They will delay, delay, delay, as they probably have some good info
from some bird experts that if they can keep it up for a couple of
weeks, the hawks will leave and never come back, or make a new nest
SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Actually, reports are that Pale Male has been spotted on more than one
occassion on a building a block away. Fortunately, he didn't have twigs in
his beak at the time. His mate, Lola, has been on both buildings.

Create commotion around the nest for LONG ENOUGH, and the birds will
NEVER TRUST THAT NEST AGAIN.
That is all they want to do. Disturb the nest site for as long as
possible.

I'd say they've already done that, wouldn't you?

This Cohen is a weasel and a scumbag, and he has scammed the bird
supporters.
The protests are quiet, and he will DELAY DELAY DELAY.

The protests aren't "quiet." There are still protests going on across the
street; however, they number less people than they did several days ago.

Then the hawks will be gone, and he will be able to say its not his
fault.
The media is gone, and soon the hawks will be gone, and Cohen will have
saved face.
He is a smart, ruthless scumbag.
And it looks like he has won.

The media isn't gone. The hawks aren't gone. The protestors aren't either.

Then he is going to make a mess of the nest site, to make Pale Male go

He will piss around with that nest, and the "construction", until the
birds leave.
All he cares about is GETTING THOSE CAMERAS AND TELESCOPES AWAY FROM

Its a sad day, but hopefully Pale Male will build a new nest somewhere,

I hate to say this, but its over, unless Pale Male outsmarts that

Besides -- Pale Male *is* smarter than Cohen (as well as most humans).
